On 29th April, 2019, school term 3 began. As part of our culture, the first day of school is set aside for Professional Development.
Professional Development is an event which helps improve the efficiency and effectiveness of workers towards work. Teachers, administrative staff, and all workers are present at this event. Matters of importance are brought up and discussed also. A new topic for PBL – Project Based Learning is also introduced at the meeting for teachers to present to their students for the term.
PROJECT BASED LEARNING is a system of learning which is more interactive and practical. It helps ensure the students involvement in the learning process. Health & Safety is this term’s topic for PBL.
The fun side then comes in, …… Critical Thinking!!! …. With critical thinking, a question is put before the staff. The question is debatable and requires real critical thinking.
