It was great fun … an “invitation only” celebration for the students and teachers to reminisce. The students reminded me that we are another year older and asked “are we going to have another party?” Always ready for a party, I sent out an alert to the students, teachers and staff to prepare for sharing.
Our oldest students (Shalom, Bevelyn and Belinda, Christian, David and Wisdom) shared and each class prepared a song, a dance and an acted drama. It was very creative! In the drama, a Mother was searching for the perfect school for their ward. A student approached and told the Mother they should go to Joy2theWorld International Christian Academy!
Then there was a dance contest for the Nursery kids (see pictures) and our winners were raised to their teacher’s shoulders and everyone cheered!
And of course, a CAKE! everyone had a bite or two of a beautiful cake baked by our chef, Belinda.
