A trip to the Kotoka International Airport embarked by Joy2TheWorld International Christian Academy happened to be an exciting but educational encounter for the students and most especially the newbies amongst us. This happens to be third time the school has visited the Int. airport.
Warm Welcome
One key factor that boosts tourism in Ghana is not necessarily the infrastructure but rather our people and how they make their guest, tourist and airport passengers feel. The continuous hospitality shown by the Customer Service personnels will go a long way in helping Ghana achieve it’s goal as a prime tourist destination in West Africa and Africa at large.
- Terminal 3, inaugurated in 2018 is the new international terminal. It comprises five levels spread across an area of 48,268m². Ultramodern facilities with capacity to handle 5 million passengers a year and 1,250 passengers per hour, six boarding bridges and a large 7000m² retail area provide comfort and safety to our growing number of passengers.
We were warmly welcomed to Terminal 3 where we met Cornelia, our tour guide who briefed the students about certain facts they needed to know before the tour itself began.
