The Ghana Planetarium is a facility established to enhance teaching about the Solar System. It gives students a realistic view of space.
It offers a full – dome planetarium show combined with some hands – on demonstration and activities that brings science to life, mainly by using everyday materials.
On the compound of the Ghana Planetarium, there is a summer hut which has a number of large astronomy – themed posters, which show the relative sizes of the sun and planets.
