The Police Station, The Police officers, C.I.D.’s, M.T.T.U., What role do they play in the society?
J2W Primary students embarked on a field trip to the police station where they learnt a lot about the function and duties of police officers and the police station as a whole.
They got to explore the various sections of the police station. The Armory where weapons are kept, The Juvenile cells where persons below the ages of 18 are locked up which was empty at that moment, Male cells, Female cells, Criminal Investigation Department(C.I.D.) Office were detect, Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (M.T.T.U.) office, department for handling and controlling road users.
This trip really enlightened our kids a lot on matters of safety and security in our society.
